The University of Texas Percussion Ensemble performed a showcase concert at the 2019 Lassiter Percussion Symposium, a regional percussion ensemble festival that is based near Atlanta, GA. The program featured the premiere of John Psathas's "Planet Damnation" (version with percussion ensemble), Alejandro Vinao's "Water" and a new work by graduate student Cy Miessler.
